Wilhelmus van NassouweHet is lang geleden, maar het volkslied klonk weer eens. Het Wilhelmus. Op Duits grondgebied, het Leipzig stadion. Het klonk goed, duizenden paisanos zongen uit volle borst mee. Het was helemaal tot in de uithoeken van Guatemala te horen. Ik moest wel ff een traantje wegpinken. Want deze keer gaat het dan toch echt gebeuren, niet 4e, 3e of een 2e plek... Nee deze keer gaat het anders zijn: NEDERLAND WERELDKAMPIOEN!

So here's the 2nd victory for the host, the team that's going to kick out the orange guests in a couple of days time! you wouldn't believe the party that's going on here, the whole country is one big party! and poor me has to go to the caribbean tomorrow with no chance to see any match for a week. thanks for all your blogger comments, and sorry i haven't responded. too much work and stress once again, and too much distraction coming from the world cup :-) keep having fun!

but to be honest - we'll miss the great oranje supporters, they painted germany orange. but they will not keep duitsland from winning the world cup!
